LOGISTICS
CTB caters for all numbers of horses. We provide a door to door service - from collection to delivery at the international
destination. Including all air freight and transport arrangements, quarantine, health certification and customs
requirments. Always under the supervision of professional grooms and veterinary personnel.
QUARANTINE FACILITIES
CTB has 4 pre export quarantine facilities. Johannesburg South Africa, Cape Town South Africa and Mauritius (Trou Aux Biches and Chamarel). All of which can comfortably accommodate up to 72 horses. Taking care of all quarantine, training and veterinary requirements during the quarantine period.

NEW! CTB's recently established USA import quarantine facility.
TRAINING
Due to current protocols when exporting horses from South Africa, training and keeping horses in work is essential during this period. With all facilities equipped with +500m poly fibre work track and horse walkers. With the addition of an Olympic size arena at the JNB quarantine. All of which are provided by CTB for the entire quarantine period to ensure the horses are kept in the best possible condition while under our care.

Expert Import
In October 2023, CTB were honoured to import G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Mile winner EXPERT EYE into South Africa. Son of leading sire, Acclamation, Expert Eye was bred and raced by Juddmonte, is a Grade 1 winner in the USA and multiple group winner in the UK, and has now become a proven sire to two crops of winners. He has recently been sold to the newly formed Paardeberg Stud in the Western Cape.
